T-8: New Mexican vintage textile, a finely woven rug from the weaving center of Chimayo, New Mexico, c. 1930. This is from a very famous weaver, active from 1910-40, whose signature was the hummingbird in the center of this textile. This weaver and his textiles are noted in books about the weaving tradition of Chimayo. Spanish immigrant families began weaving in the village of Chimayo around 1610-20. Condition of the textile is mint! This piece was highly prized by its owners through the years, and, as a result, it was extremely well cared for. Size: 51 1/2 inches wide by 83 inches long. Price: $950.

C-6: Native American Indian textile: large Navajo rug with crosses, c. 1920. Size: 82 3/4" long by 49" wide. Given the design and use of red, this could be a piece from the Ganado, Arizona area, where trader Lorenzo Hubbell encouraged the use of red, his favorite color. Condition is excellent. Price: $2200.

C-12: Native American textile, Navajo saddle blanket, c. 1930's.
Size: 31" long by 30" wide. Beautifully woven with colorful stripes and great border. Possibly from Ganado, AZ, as the piece features the red colored wool so loved by trader Lorenzo Hubbell.

D-11: Native American textile, Navajo rug: Crystal runner, c. 1910. Size: 81" long x 38" wide. This is a beautiful textile. The weave is very tight, and the condition is excellent. Two shades of red are evident in the center decoration, due to the use of two different dye-lots. The pattern is a "storm variant" and is highly unique. Price: $3400.
